Let me know when they're done...

You put your head in, you pull your head out, you put your head in and you shake it all about, you do the hokey pokey and you turn yourself around...

Oh, my!

LOL! Mindypin, before I saw your comment, that was exactly what I was thinking. Then again, this is France we are talking about, remember? Nothing serious ever comes out of there.

So sad, since they did have a great Catholic history, wonderful Saints and and beautiful cathedrals. May the French saints pray for them!

That is, of course, except French bread, French vanilla, the French language, La Madeleine Country French Cafe, and if we stretch the concept of "serious" or "good" a little, French fries.

What's the French battle cry?

"We surrender."

Which is precisely what they seem to have done, at least in this instance, in the ever perpetual liturgical wars. And just so that we don't leave contemporary Austria out, go to the St. Mary Magdalen blog and scroll down to the June 15 entry.

Yes, Anonymous, and that is precisely why I am displeased with this new state of affairs.

This is as far removed from me as a Shinto sacrificing a gourd.
