O God, who didst bestow upon thy blessed confessor King Edward the crown of everlasting glory: Grant us, we pray thee; so to venerate him on earth, that we may be found worthy to reign with him in heaven; through Jesus Christ thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God, world without end.
