The diary of a priest, being random thoughts and various things of possible interest from the Pastor of Our Lady of the Atonement Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Nice of Kens5 to send a news team to cover it. They did get the story a bit wrong, in that the last time a married priest had celebrated Mass in the Archdiocese of San Antonio had been maybe 30 minutes earlier. Funny to hear the anchor say "history was made this morning when for the first time in 27 years a married priest celebrated Mass for San Antonio Archdiocese" while on camera you see Father Moore standing next to Father Phillips. He apparently was not aware where that 27 year number came from.
The Kens5 anchor added that he had been there for the Mass and that Father Moore "did a great job first time through, I'm guessing it was a great job, it looked good from where I was sitting anyway".
