Spouse of Christ...
This past Thursday evening our parish church was the setting for the Solemn Profession of one of the Poor Clares of Perpetual Adoration. Sr. Mary Peter of St. John was consecrated as a Spouse of Jesus Christ before more than three hundred parishioners and guests, along with several Sisters.
(Above) Several of the Poor Clare Nuns prepare to witness the Vows of Sr. Mary Peter.

Father, if you can email me some larger-resolution pictures or forward my address to people who took them, I'd be much obliged. I didn't actually get to see anything from my spot in the choir loft, tucked away in the corner like a dusty old pre-VII candlestick at St. Ronald McChurch's, if ya know what I mean.
Yes, I understand, archbishop 10K. I'll find out who else took pictures, and let you know.
Known to her pals as Sister MP of SJ? :)
What joy! God bless Sister Mary Peter and the Poor (actually, rich beyond all counting) Clares!
Dear Fr. Phillips,
We were there for this beautiful ceremony or our dear friend, Sr. Mary Peter. My son Mason was one of the altar servers. I want to tell you what a beautiful church, parish, and school you have. We are touched by the reverence you display for Our Lord. Keep up the wonderful work you do for Jesus. Can't wait to visit again.
God bless,
Wendee
