Try it! You can find out which of the Church Fathers you most resemble by going here and taking the test.
I took it, and here's my result:
You’re St. Melito of Sardis! You have a great love of history and liturgy. You’re attached to the traditions of the ancients, yet you recognize that the old world — great as it was — is passing away. You are loyal to the customs of your family, though you do not hesitate to call family members to account for their sins. Find out which Church Father you are at The Way of the Fathers! |

That's who I was too :D
You'd never believe it but I, three, came out St. Melito of Sardis. I'm honored to be in the same neiborhood but doubt you would like it much, Father. Therefore, I remain anomymous.
Hey, do you think this thing is fixed... maybe put together by someone with a deep, secret devotion to St. Melito?? It seems kind of strange that everybody gets the same results!
I took the test and ended with the same... St. Melito of Sardis. Which one of your children is most like you?
Heck, at this rate, EVERYBODY'S most like me!
You are St. Justin Martyr!
You have a positive and hopeful attitude toward the world. You think that nature, history, and even the pagan philosophers were often guided by God in preparation for the Advent of the Christ. You find “seeds of the Word” in unexpected places. You’re patient and willing to explain the faith to unbelievers.

Doesn't sound like me., I don't suffer fools easily.
I was Origen!
Ralph is St. Justin Martyr. I feel a bit guilty about that; I suppose I now bear partial responsibility for "restoring" the "Sign of Peace" in the Novus Ordo.
I'm channeling Origen, which means I must now read about him!
Another St. Melito checking in here. For a moment, I was flattered to think of myself as of the same mind as Father... and then I read the rest of the posts.
Oh well!
Same here. St. Melito. I'll take it. :)
