Father, Why would our dear Pope need to send a sympathy card to Archbishop Gomez? Something happen that we don't know about? Or is it just because he was sent to Los Angeles?
I had to LOL regarding the one of Gomez. It so so true, the poor Archbishop is going to have a very tough road ahead afer Mahony leaves.
Mahony has just about destroyed the Church in Los Angeles and surrounding dioceses. I pray he will be strong and have an iron rod to carry to get the other Bishops and many of the priests in line with the True Catholic faith.
We are so very lucky to have him here and sorry for your loss. Hopefully whoever will be the Bishop in San Antonio will be as good a shepherd as the Archbishop was.
