Sublime meets ridiculous...

I'm not sure when I've witnessed a greater disconnect between what I'm seeing and what I'm hearing. The Holy Father, the Vicar of Christ on earth, preparing to celebrate the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass... all to the easy-listening strains of throw-away background music. Errrgh!!

At the end of the clip, have a look at the expression on the Pope's face. It says it all...

UNBELIEVABLE!!!
Was that 'Yanni'!?!
I hope somebody read them the riot act. I think it was done to embarrass the Pope which seems to be they liberal/leftist way to get at him for all the good he doing.

Open rebellion in his presence! When is he going to stop playing nice with these people and put his foot down? He has given them plenty of time to turn around (pun intended) to the true path and still they refuse.
If they want to be Anglicans/Episcopalians then cut them a trail and be done with them. 'This is starting to make me angry and they wouldn't like me when I'm angry' GRRRRRRRR!

For a second I thought it was the theme music to the Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Oh and what is wrong with female altar servers???? We had them at Westminster. It is a priviledge to serve at any ceremony.

Jo, that was precisely what I was going to say, before I read your comment: it sounds to me like Muzak.
