We just celebrated the Solemnity of Our Lady of the Atonement, the title of the Blessed Virgin which began with the Society of the Atonement in Graymoor, Garrison, New York. Here's a brief but interesting video which gives some glimpses and information about Graymoor.

Good video!. I have a couple of questions. Is the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rosemont PA going to be entering the Ordinariate when it is erected. Will they have a chance to keep their Church?.
Bishop David Moyer and most of the parishioners will be entering the Ordinariate; however, it does not appear that they will be able to keep the property.
It's a real shame that may not be able to keep their property. It's even a bigger shame that most of these Churches are perfect settings for an Ordinariate. When was the last time a Catholic Church was built here in the US in the Gothic Style.
I'm so happy that Bishop Moyer will be joining the Ordinariate along with many of his flock. I just watched some of his youtube sermons, and he is very orthodox in his teachings. God Bless him!!.
I was disappointed with the Graymoor site. I expected more offerings on Father Paul, Mother Laurena and Our Lady of the Atonement. It appears they have forsaken their First Love and I don't like 'fake sisters' wearing stylish cloths instead of habits and talking about poverty. What a joke. Sorry if I offend but come on!
I read in a Catholic magazine that the Graymoor Fathers had hired Richard Vosko to consult on a renovation project. Any info on this subject? Is the civilian dressed Vosko still actively dismantling Catholic Churches?
I hadn't heard that Vosko will have anything to do with a project there -- I certainly hope not.
When I posted this video, it's not because I thought it was especially well-done, or that it tells the story well. Frankly, it doesn't. I put it up mainly for those who had never see anything of Graymoor. It's a special place for us. I haven't been there in some years, but when I've visited in the past, I've been very inspired to have been where Fr. Paul and Mother Lurana carried out the vision God had given them.
Couldn't the Church of the Good Shepherd in Rosemont PA work out a similar deal with their church property. Lease with a purchase option. Like they did at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Bladensburg, Md.
