I didn't know so many people looked at the program schedule for EWTN. Because they do, I've had calls today asking me if I knew that I was supposed to be in Alabama to be on the "Coming Home" program.
Actually, Marcus Grodi had invited me to take part in his program on Anglicanorum coetibus, and I would have like to have been there, but my schedule just didn't allow me to participate. Unfortunately, the information didn't find its way to the publicity department, so they went with the weeks-old information.
So to clarify - I won't be a guest with Marcus tonight. Fortunately, I don't have a huge adoring public, so there probably won't be wailing in the streets.

Drar Fr. Phillips,
Do you think you could be on another time? It is a shame as they mentioned you tonight as being on next week. Since yours is the first AU parish and you were more involved with the beginning of the Anglican Use parishes, it would be great to have your insight.
Well Father, your adoring public was very disappointed that you were not on the program. Maybe in the future you will be able to go. In the meantime, we have you all to ourselves and we are happy about that also.
Father,
You would have done well on the program, but in addition I felt a TAC or FIF representative should have been on the program as well, seeing that it is they who are actually the ones 'coming home', as well as the fact that it was they who were the main forces leading to the Apostolic Constitution in the first place.
Fr Longnecker is well known, but he was never really a player leading up to the Apostolic Constitution, so from that perspective The Journey Home really could have searched harder.
