Contacting the Poor Clare Nuns...
Several of you have asked how you can contact the nuns. You can now do that by e-mail.
One was born in England, another here in Texas, one in Alabama, also one in North Carolina, and there's one other place I cannot remember at the moment.
The nuns belong to a contemplative order, and their main apostolate is that of prayer -- not exclusively for our parish, but for any and all who need their prayers. Other than their tasks within their own monastery, they have no other active work.
Father, I don't seem to be able to work the "choose an identity" part. Don't mean to be anonymous. Beal Thomas, Director of Music, Holy Rosary, Houston

Thank you Father for the e mail address for prayer requests via the nuns. Needed that! And we are also glad to know that you are available for tech support. God love you!
Thank you Father for that information. I know they are working with a good friend of mine, Fr Jack Connors. May God bless you and your priesthood and these holy sisters.
Will their website to up soon? I check on occasion and it's still "under construction". I love to check the desert nuns site also and I hope they are both blessed with vocations and money to help build their monastary. Debra

Excellent! God love these sisters, I can only imagine the efficacy of their prayers.
By the way Father, as a matter of curiosity, do you know where they are all from originally, where they were born?

Father,
It would be interesting to know more about their work in the parish.

Yes, are they going to update their website? It still says "coming soon."
